McLaren 570s Oil Change
Переглядів 1,2 тис.9 місяців тому
My friend's McLaren 570s was due for it's annual oil change service so I decided to tackle the job in his garage! It's fairly simple can be done in your own home with some tools and perseverance. I replaced all the crush washers, drain plugs, and o-rings on the drain lines. I also replaced the oil filter.

You can always disconnect the switch for the reverse.
Love the styling, it's timeless. Go-kart steering, gas mileage, and easy to work on. Got mine 5 years ago when it had 59k, still have it, she just past 91k.
I love Tahyotah Celicas
BMW Always So Cool Of A Car
I GOTTHESAMEEXACT 1 BUT WITH SUN ROOF.. 5 SPEED STA NDARD 💪🏻 GOID CAR. I ALSO HAVE A 2007 BLACK ONE , BUT AUTOMATIC WITH LEATHER SEATS, AUTOMATIC TRANS.. SO I HAVE2 & THEY BOTH DEPENDABLE
What city you living in bro?
St. Louis, MO
@@theclumsytank Nice! I was thinking about the places looking familiar. I'm planning to settle there next month.
Damn I wish I had that six speed, the rev placement after lift is IDEAL. You have to wait a while on the auto in M mode after 1st to 2nd and by 2nd lift you are already 85MPH... Love my 01' though, even though the lift bolts were broken and I had to delete the sunroof because it leaked lol.
I have owned my 2000 Celica ZR (sunroof , nice trim & seats etc.) Australian model 2zz, 6 SPD manual, reliable, very fuel efficient, looks good & goes fast enough (204km/HR at 7,700rpm in FIFTH GEAR - one gear to go. Mine spins to 8,500rpm, FUN TO DRIVE. Love to buy another one !
yea i'm actively looking for one now. I had one back in the day when they came out. I like this car so much cuz it's not tooo loaded up with all this worthless tech that new cars have. I like that there's no buttons all over the steering wheel. No touch screen. Nice mechanical feel. Not too much refinement. They're just right. I like how they sit sooo low. Feels like a cheap acura nsx wtih the view out the front. They look really good to me. I like that it has all the room in the back for my stuff. Cant get that in most sports cars. It's fast enough and handles well enough for the road. Get great mileage and is cheap to own. So yea. I can't think of anything I'd rather have for something I'm actually gonna use all the time. The bad thing is the prices are going up, and they're hard to find.
Amazing car. I got CELICA TS 192 HP
This engine is very reliable. For those with break engine the cause is oem oil pan if race the car and pass 1.1g lateral pressure die from oil starvation and need baffled aftermarket oil pan for sure👍 With good maintenance can pass easily the 200.000 miles i know examples with over 300.000 like new without repairs and issues. Also the internals is very robust can hold about 400hp with stock internals! But is little risky! With lower compression the 400bhp is safe.
Don’t people usually use the 1ZZ oil pan for the 2zz?
@bdougy yes mate, but is also risky again for race use
@@DimoS... ohh got you, what after market oil pan would you recommend for the 2zz?
@bdougy moroso is good choice with bigger oil capacity but its very expensive, in mwr sale baffled 2zz pan in very good price👍 but if you don't race hard the car on track days you will be fine with 1zz pan. Also oil and gearbox fluids is very important, I use 0w40 mobil1 on engine and redline mt90 gl4 75w90 on gearbox
😮
How does navigation work, service fee? And I'd the map outdated?
I love my Celica because it's the nostalgia feeling. When I drive mine on the road it still a head turner.
I've been driving my Celica TS (2001 Europe model, 192hp 8200redline) as a daily driver, and honestly, it made me enjoy going to work because of the driving experience it gives. It is not too complicated to work on, and seems pretty reliable too. It is my second car, and I am happy i chose this particular model!
A great car for sure! Thanks for tuning in
Just seen your mazda3 review video and subscribed. Keep going bro.
I appreciate it bro I just uploaded some new videos stay tuned
Do you have the link to purchase all the parts?
www.mclarennorthjersey.com/product/oil-change-kit/
Great video! What sub-model scanner did you use to reset your service reminder? They have several models and i’m looking to buy the one that will reset my service light on my 570S
Add a catch can ...
Electric engine? WTF is that?
Shouldn’t you drain the sump also? Saw another video where that was done. I just got a 570 and want to do work on it myself. Great video thanks for posting
Appreciate the feedback! I don't believe it's necessary on this model to do so.. goodluck you got this!
What was the oil scanner reset tool you used?
I have the Launch X431
Ya know I would maybe buy it again if I could find it and it was maintained
Yeah had it since 07 but sold it this year in July.. got 264 K miles out of it
You forgot the programming part after every oil change.
I did it just didn’t have footage of it
I bought a fairly used Mazda 626 1997 version in 2018 and used it for 6 years with no major issues. I finally sold it for more than half the price i bought it and the owner is still enjoying it. Mazda overall is a brand i’ll highly recommend to anyone. It’s durable and fair in price
Not anymore. I had a 2016 Mazda6 manual, and it started falling apart at a young age. I got out of it and into a Tacoma before it got out of control. Failed blind spot monitoring, failed fuel rail/injector, the driver's seat's upholstery started cracking, despite the fact that I wear gentle clothes and not things like blue jeans with rivets that can damage it. There were other weird electrical gremlins. The combination of a manual transmission and an e-parking brake is just stupid. Even when the blind spot monitoring worked, it completely ignored motorcycles which was of course dangerous. I don't need BSM, but if it is in place and claims to work it NEEDS to work 100% of the time. The paint job was also thin and not durable. Not a terrible car, but not a good one either. I also take painstakingly good care of my cars. I never miss a service interval, and I don't subscribe to the 10K oil change nonsense. I also live in an area not conducive to rust. I had an '05 Mazda 3 manual which was the best car I have ever owned. The '16 6 was just garbage quality in comparison. They tried to make too nice of a car on too little of a budget. Beware of brand loyalty. To ANY brand.
really like your call, wish to get one like that
did it fling you all over the road when it happened? how fast were u going
He was literally going into the driveway at like 2-3 mph lmao, but before that it had a crazy vibration
Been on his side of the story. Always grateful to the guy that helped me out like you did
I appreciate it brother I am always glad to help those around me! Thanks for tuning in :)
Hey man dont forget a jack stand or atleast throw the wheel under there Good quick fix man cheers.
I usually do lmao but I appreciate the tip!
@@theclumsytank good shit! Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much 😊😊😊 for it
Can you shortlist the part numbers of all needed parts?
The supplier I used in this video is discontinued now.. I can send you the link to a new kit with everything you need! www.mclarennorthjersey.com/product/oil-change-kit/
I gave you a thumps up because we almost have the same car. I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra, 1.8 S in White, still in very good condition, low mileage. Got it when it was popular back then and still driving it in 2023. Not sure how many more years can I get out of this car with low mileage.
Dope car
I’m looking at 2006 to 2008 Mazdas 3 with automatic trans for my daughter. Are these decent cars and what about the automatics? Thanks for any advice.
Mines an 05 1.8 special edition and I’m just wondering did anyone’s else come with a subwoofer built into the trunk from the factory or am I the only one??
The special edition comes with the subwoofer in the back yes. Not sure if the se-r models do tho
I got one too , everybody thought I installed it 😭
owned a 1.6 petrol 2008 mazda takara, by far the best most cost effective and reliable car I have owned yet. wish the fuel economy was better but I could count on it to get me anywhere. each time I look for one in the uk there's not that many listed or good examples anymore
Nice and wonderful car
So , why do people say that Nissans are not good cars??
Basically, a lot of the later model nissans have CVT transmissions that are prone to failing. These older model nissans don't have that problem
i bought mine for 4900, 126k miles a year ago. i guess it was a decent deal considering the used car market is fucked.
❤2006
It’s my first car right now in United state of America 🇺🇸 and I love it
Does the 2006 Nissan Sentra have auto headlights?
how do i let my back seat down to get to the trunk, but my car not power its manual?/
there is a button lever thing in the trunk that makes the rear seats fold down
This is the lst intelligible video I've seen on the 2006 Sentra. Good job. 👍
We had a 2006 Sentra
Just put the coins everywhere
I recently got a 2016 Sentra, funny to see how Nissan has advanced in 10 years, and in some ways went backwards 😂
Nice ride man 😎
This thing is a beast. Survived me a snowy crash and got me home safe after a tow 😂 great car
